NFRC invites all members and participants to a webinar on January 17, 2019 from 1-2:30 PM Eastern time to review the proposed changes to the generic material lists in NFRC 101. These lists are the basis for the generic materials used in NFRC simulations by all participants in any NFRC certification program.

Throughout 2018, the NFRC 101 Task Group has worked to update the referenced sources for the conductivities of these materials to ensure the most accurate simulations possible. Changes to the appendices include updating the conductivity values to match the latest and best referenced sources, removing materials that are no longer commercially available, and adding materials that are used in a wide variety of simulated products.

This is a topic that does affect each and every participant in the NFRC certification program and we encourage everyone to attend this webinar and review the changes.

There will be a ballot published in February for the Spring NFRC meeting being held March 25-27, 2018 in Baltimore, MD. All members are encouraged to review the changes to the Appendices in the ballot and vote! This webinar will be your first opportunity to see the changes and ask questions regarding those changes.
