Becoming an NFRC Member Organization

NFRC member organizations have made a commitment to ensure the energy-efficiency ratings of windows, doors, skylights, and window films are fair, accurate, and credible. Through membership support, organizations have the opportunity for representation on task groups and committees and a vote in the development of our ratings and standards. Member organizations also enjoy a discount on their program participation fees.

Does being a member mean my products are certified?

No, becoming a member of NFRC does not certify your products. Membership is optional and companies choose to become members because of the benefits that are listed above. Click to read more about how to get your products certified.

How many people from one member company participate?

While each member company only gets one vote, as many people as would like can participate in other ways such as attending meetings and joining task groups and work groups.
