The NFRC 101

Procedure for Determining Thermophysical Properties of Materials For Use in NFRCApproved Software

The NFRC 101 Task Group is balloting some changes to the document at the NFRC Spring Membership Meeting in Philadelphia on March 21-23, 2022. The changes are to clarify and standardize the ASTM C518 test procedure for sample size, preparation, and testing. If passed, these changes will affect how high conductivity, rigid materials are tested using the C518 apparatus and procedure.

In order to fairly and efficiently roll out these changes, an implementation plan requiring retests for all affected materials currently listed in Appendix C of NFRC 101 is being brought forth to the Thermophysical Properties SC, and on to the Research & Technology Committee and, ultimately, the Board for approval.

This webinar will provide information you need to know regarding the implementation of these changes and how this will affect your material listings and product certifications.

Please join us for an informative webinar and a chance to ask questions regarding this important topic.
