This fast-paced workshop is intended for those experienced with WINDOW/THERM to seek certification for computer modeling in accordance with NFRC procedures for determining fenestration product U-factors, Solar Heat Gain Coefficients (SHGC), Visible Transmittance (VT), and Condensation Resistance/Condensation Index. Simulation of fenestration products with shading systems (complex glazings) is included in the training. This course and exam will be held online.

We will email information about course preparation, including agenda, after you have registered. This workshop requires knowledge of WINDOW & THERM. The training is an in-depth review of these programs by solving interactive problems, as well as a brief review of the NFRC 716 Certified Simulator program requirements. Training materials will be provided prior to the workshop date. The workshop is planned for 5 days, concluding on June 12 with the in-class exam. The class will be on the following days from 12:00 am - 4:00 pm Eastern - Week 1:June 3, 4

WORKSHOP REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Friday, May 27. The course instructor is Dennis Anderson, senior manager, program, who has been simulating fenestration products since 1993. Dennis has been with NFRC and conducting certified simulator workshops for more than nine years. A LEAFF Certified Simulator himself, Dennis has taught certified simulators globally and assists in evaluating the software programs used for NFRC certification.
