By registering for this workshop, you will also be required to attend a separate Webinar regarding the Component Modeling Approach (CMA) Program. This program was implemented for certifying commercial products on January 1, 2010, and requires training of THERM6 and CMAST (CMA Software Tool) so simulators know how to enter frame and spacer components into the CMAST libraries. The webinar will be schedule after the take-home exams fromall participants have been received.
This workshop requires knowledge of WINDOW & THERM but you do not have to be proficient. The training is an indepth review of these programs by solving interactive problems, as well as a review of the NFRC accredited laboratory and certified simulator requirements. Training materials will be provided on a USB Drive on the workshop date.
The workshop will be held at Best Western Plus at Mall of America:1901 Killebrew Drive, Bloomington, MN 55425, (952) 854-8200. The workshop is planned for 4 days, concluding on Friday, June 10th no later than 2:30 PM. Please plan to arrive on Monday, June 6th in order to be ready for the workshop which starts promptly at 8:00 AM, June 7th . (Note: Please see the "Workshop Supporting Document” for important information regarding schedule and how to make your travel plans). The Best Western provides breakfast for all overnight guests. NFRC will provide coffee, soda, bottled water and lunch for the four days of the workshop. A laptop is REQUIRED for all registrants.
