FTI Stakeholder Workshop

Facade Tectonics Institute Stakeholder Workshop

On Thursday, October 16, 2025, the Facade Tectonics Institute will host an invite-only workshop as part of the NFRC Fall Meeting at the Renaissance Cincinnati Downtown Hotel. This 90-minute session, limited to ~40 participants, will bring together a balanced mix of industry leaders representing design, manufacturing, policy, research, and ownership.

The workshop’s aim is not simply to discuss façade performance, but to develop a shared roadmap toward defining high-performance façades for non-residential and multi-family buildings. Together, participants will examine critical metrics and project context (from energy, comfort, and resilience to carbon, durability, and adaptability) and consider how these elements intersect with building type, climate, and market needs.

The format emphasizes active participation and cross-sector dialogue, ensuring a diversity of perspectives feeds into the outcome. Lunch will be served at 12:30 pm, followed by the workshop from 1:00–2:30 pm. The results will help shape future specifications language, and further collaborative initiatives in the façades industry.

If interested in attending, please email Helen Sanders and Sophie Pennertier.
