I'm not sure if this is the correct way to suggest another idea to streamline/improve certifications but here it is.
I'm seeing more and more options fall out of the "matrix" because they are not within .10 (lower) of the test option. The choice then being either omitting these options or retesting to try to get a lower number. This means re-test fees, shipping damage, failures, etc. Also adding lower options in the future is limited.
My question is why is the range .10? Where does that number come from? Couldn't it just as easily be .15? or .20? That would pretty much eliminate the vast majority of these and save a lot of time and money.
Is this something others run into? Thanks.
