Scope: This group shall make recommendations to the Condensation Resistance Subcommittee for improving the accuracy and/or ease of use of the NFRC 500 simulation process.

Scope: Find a way to obtain spectral data for fritted glass in a manner that would allow WINDOW calculations of IGUs. Determine best practice how to obtain data and verify the accuracy of these practices.

The Door Task Group shall report to the U-factor Subcommittee and shall provide a forum for discussion and forwarding of proposals to develop or improve the simulation and testing methods and ratings, and certification and labeling procedures for exterior doors.

Scope: The task group is responsible for maintaining the NFRC 700 Product Certification Program document.

Scope: To develop an alternate component based procedure to generate U-factor, SHGC, VT, and Condensation Resistance, and at the appropriate time Daylighting and Ventilation for use by the residential window and patio door manufacturers.

Scope: The Simulators TG is responsible for reviewing existing software and technical standards and recommending changes and improvements to the U-factor Subcommittee, Solar Heat Gain Subcommittee, or Condensation Resistance Subcommittee.

Scope: To provide a definition for spandrels so that they may be rated, in accordance with NFRC approved methods, for U-factor, solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC), visible transmittance (VT), and condensation resistance (CR).

Scope: The Test Lab TG is responsible for developing and coordinating NFRC 102. The U-factor Test Lab TG reports recommendations to the U-factor Subcommittee

Scope: The VIG TG mission is to conduct the necessary research, using recognized science and NFRC published procedures to accurately define, rate and label performance characteristics of fenestration incorporating VIG component(s).

The WINDOW-THERM Approval Task Group shall be responsible for:
•Managing the process of obtaining NFRC approval of WINDOW6/7 and THERM6/7, as defined by the NFRC Software Approval Guidelines.
•Proposing all necessary document revisions associated with implementation of WINDOW6/7 and THERM6/7
•Proposing a schedule for implementation of WINDOW6/7 and THERM6/7, and subsequent sun-setting of previous versions
•Reviewing the NFRC Software Approval Guidelines and recommending revisions if
